Between Scales and Sting

She was born when Libra got closer to Scorpio

A balancing undone by heat.

A profound grace, interrupted by something too wild to tame.

I feel the rays of her light across my chest—

in every shimmer and shine that the morning may bring.

In stars above clustered clouds

An echo of feathered flowers, they sing

How do I escape this Breeze?

I’m either imprisoned by this love for her,
or entrapped within the effort of escaping it.

Oh Master of Love and Life,
how do I stop my heart from pumping this way?

Perhaps just…
Stop it.

How do I forgive the wind
for carrying your name?

It’s from اللّٰه
