Some betrayals are not your run of the mill.

They aren’t loud, they aren’t dramatic—but surgical, quiet, disguised in smiles.

And that kind of betrayal is worse—because it pretends to be love.

قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إِلَى اللَّهِ وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

"He said, 'I only complain of my sorrow and grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know.'" (Surah Yusuf, 12:86)

Civility without justice is betrayal in formalwear.

Peace without repair is performance.

اللهمّ إنّي عبدك، وقلبي متعب، وإيماني يطلب ماء
فارزقني آيةً منك، لا من أحدٍ غيرك
واجعلها بابًا لثباتي وزيادة يقيني بك
أرني أنك لم تتركني. يا من لا يخذل عبدًا دعاه
