What Can I Tell You?
Who embedded within thy smile such a fragrant pleasance?
Who stitched in this beating heart thy illustrious presence?
Skies painted as if colourful souls of the 5th heaven were painting it fresh in real time
Echoes of the chirping discussion felt like a story being sung to my being of your shine
First the soul was told, not the mind, as if they somehow knew better, a few little birds
Then secrets unveiled with time and letters, third by third, word for word
A red rolling silk carpet embroidered by the Soul of souls
I found them in my bosom written, scroll upon scrolls
Any symbol of the alphabet blessed by being part of your spoken designation
Is an avenue through which mercy streams it’s constant permeation
We do not ‘fight’ hate - we douse anger with Love
We then embrace fate, hugging our Angels above
Oceans of emotion quake, each wing fans an electric flame
To asteroids passing by eager to humble the Earth’s glory and fame
Courses of compassion are taught by Jupiter in your timeless name
‘Throw stardust upon your face and gaze upon the Lord most high’
The soaring stones then like clouds, whisk and pass by
Turning from rock to shooting stars sowing mercy in the night sky
What can I tell you about this adorned sphere of what we call the world
If I could tell you her story it would far out-pretty all your fancy paintings
